Blackheads

​These are open comedones, which are small bumps with a dark spot on top caused by clogged pores.

Whiteheads

These are closed comedones, which are small bumps under the skin that stay closed and look white or skin-colored.

Papules

These are small, red, raised bumps on the skin that don't have any pus.

Pustules

These are small, raised bumps on the skin with a white or yellow centre filled with pus.

These are large, painful, solid lumps under the skin.

Treatment Options

There are a variety of treatments available to help manage and reduce acne. These include both over-the-counter and prescription medications, most of which can be prescribed by a pharmacist at Kennedy Pharmacy.
